My Students

My students are from a variety of backgrounds and situations. This year, students will be learning in a virtual setting, and we want to prove we can still learn in a remote setting at home. My students are loving, sweet little individuals who are eager to learn in a new way this year. We need every resource available to make us successful.

This is a year like no other.

My students are learning in an environment that will challenge all of us. Students are going to be making history this year, and together we will be successful in reaching our goals.

My Project

My students will be learning from home this year due to Covid19. In first grade, it is easier to learn how to read and write when you can sound out the words. This grant will will help my students virtually see the words we are learning and spelling.

Manipulatives make learning phonics and math easier when students learn to see and make new words and can see how to add and subtract.

First grade students like to make words using tiles and letters. Virtually, this is a challenge, but this project will help show the children how to make new words. We really need the letters and tiles to show students how they can make words at home.
