This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Let’s be good citizens and recycle.

Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Currently all recyclable plastic bottles end up in the trash. Let’s follow Gandhi’s advice and change. Let’s recycle recyclable beverage bottles. This project has the recycling bin with a lid that we need to recycle. The lid has a hole in the lid. The hole in the lid will help everyone understand that this recycle bin is only for recyclable beverage bottles. My students want to recycle plastic beverage bottles at school.

Let's recycle and let's have a fun event to showcase our school initiative to Recycle. We want students to value recycling, so this event will be great. We will use Earth Day posters we already have in class to showcase the importance of caring for our planet. This project has individually packaged water bottles, juice drinks, sparkling waters to give to students at our kick off for Recycling. When students when they are done with their drink they will put the recyclable beverage bottles in the recycling bin. The recycling bin has a hole on the lid and this visual will help students know that the recycle bin is for recycling recyclable beverage bottles.

Recycling at school will be great. Thank you for supporting our project. Thank you for helping us recycle at school.
