My Project
My students are resilient and have been working very hard this year. They have endured water crisis, wintery storms, and other disasters that have caused supplies to be destroyed or depleted. Many of my students have been displaced without a safe place to stay and lack personal hygiene products and food. This can be very difficult for students to remain focused in class or come to school.
With these resources, my students will be able to have those basic necessities and continue to thrive in the classroom.
The personal hygiene products (pads, deodorant, mouth wash, soap, towels) will be given to those students in need in a bag. The snacks will ensure students always have an option to chose something they like. The printer will be used to reprint important notes and documents. The dry erase paper will be used for students to work in groups and work math problems.
