My Project

As a school librarian, my goal is to foster a love of reading and we need new books. My students love to come to our school library and check out books. The more positive interactions students have with books, the more likely they will become lifelong readers.

Each year new and exciting books are released for children, but with budget cuts, I am not always able to purchase them for our library.

Students have been asking me for a number of these titles and I would love to make them so happy by sharing these stories with them. I also love to share the Caldecott award winners/honor books so they can see the beautiful picture book art that is created.
