My Students

Every day my students greet me at the door with high fives or some form of a handshake. They are eager to start the day and are excited about learning. What they are most excited about is afternoon play centers where they have free choice for their learning.

We are in a rural community where many of my students don't have opportunities to experience the world.

I strive to provide a brain-compatible classroom for all my students through cooperative learning and conscious discipline.

My Project

Every day my students use a reading binder with sleeve protectors during our morning reading time. The binders hold our alphabet, blends, vowels, and etc charts. We also use it to hold our sight word poems and other poetry we study throughout the year. Our numbers and 100th chart are also housed inside this binder folder. However, the ones we have now are falling apart. I have had to tape on 2 covers and several more of them are falling apart.

Reading together is important for obtaining reading skills that will help build their reading fluency.

These will greatly benefit my students. Thanks for considering my students and class. We love our donors.
