My Students

My students are 26 energetic students that come from many different backgrounds. We are an English Language Learner Classroom which means we are learning Common Core curriculum and learning how to speak, write and read English as well! Our school is in a low income area where over 80% of our students receive free lunch. Resources are sometimes difficult to obtain. Donating to this project would help our students become better readers and gain knowledge about the world through reading!

My Project

Again, our class is an ESL class with 26 amazing students from various backgrounds, learning 4th grade Common Core curriculum. We are also learning how to read, write and speak English. It can be a difficult task, but my students are ready to learn every single day! They are always enthusiastic and ready for the challenge.

All experiences are very new for theses students and their willingness to learn is incredible.

Scholastic News and Super Science Magazine will promote those inquisitive minds and give them more experiences with print. Everything is brand new for them so the teaching experience has been especially fulfilling and we are constantly growing.
