My Project

My students are some of the most resilient people you will ever meet. They have faced numerous challenges at home and school, and they keep showing up.

I am request a set of Fish in a Tree, a book about a girl who isn't very good at school, but she figures out she has a reading disability thanks to one caring teacher.

It doesn't make her any less , just different. Many of my students have not had a positive experience at school. Many of them have disabilities that have been overlooked due to their behavior. This book will help show them that they aren't less than. They are important! They matter! And they can do great things!

The power of a good book is ever lasting. I hope reading this book opens their eyes to the love of books.

I am also requesting resources from Teachers Pay Teachers which offers a wide array of engaging, thought provoking units. Materials purchased through TpT would only enhance the students' practice and experience.
