Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn to read. I want to give them the books to succeed, and you can help! I am requesting decodable books that give my students the ability to begin reading with simple CVC words. These types of books help the students use what they've learned to decode and read a story independently. When they are able to do this, they become more confident and begin to read more.

The love of reading hits them and they flourish into successful readers!

I am also requesting Summer Activity Books so that my students can continue to learn over the summer. This is important so they don't slide back and are able to continue to flourish in first grade.
