Let's Read Away...

Help me give my students bookshelves to organize their library. My students have a corner to sit and enjoy their reading time alone or with a buddy but no shelves to stack their books.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Aragon's classroom raised $351

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students demonstrate great leadership skills while working cooperatively in groups, express brilliant ideas while having academic conversations and enjoy helping each other clarifying questions.

Everyday I go to work with a smile on my face because I know I will be teaching a great group of kids that enthusiastically participate, take pride in their work and exhibit loyalty to their teacher, peers, school and community.

My students are such great students and are a complete joy to be with!

My Project

These bookshelves will make it so much easier and accessible for my students to locate a book they will surely enjoy. Their corner has pillows that will attract any reader and with these beautiful shelves it will just seem irresistible. I will organize the books by genre to facilitate their search and they will also be set up in classroom sets. I have tons of books that have been donated to me and I cannot wait to put them up on my new bookshelves.

The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons.

They will also be used to create anchor charts while I use GLAD.
