My Students

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and ability levels. Our school is a Title I school, and we have many English Language Learners. Many students come from a disadvantaged background. and are facing economic challenges.

There is a wide range of individual needs from students with learning disabilities, behavioral, speech and language disorders to students with Autism.

Despite these challenges, we all put forth our best efforts every day, making the most of the supplies we have been given!

My Project

This 3D printer will motivate and engage all learners in the school. Students will be able to see their creations come to life and teachers can print out models which we currently do not have access to.

Robotics and computer programming is the future!

My students will be able to see their ideas come to life and endless design possibilities await! Students will use this technology to print their creations in 3D, from art projects to science materials to study, this tool is a much needed missing piece of our STEAM education.

The students in my school do not have access to a 3D printer in the community and this would engage and excite them to the new technology available.

As their teacher, I would use this to create materials for lessons we might not have access to, for example, printing Megalodon teeth for study and comparison.
