Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our First Chapter Friday books need a place to be displayed. Our book shelves are full and placing them in a box is not serving their purpose. Once my students interest is spiked, I would love to have an area where they can visual be reminded of the books they have added to their "books to read" log. The magnetic book shelves for our whiteboard our ideal for creating this space.

My students have worked really hard on their reading projects this year and an author's chair is ideal for them to present the one pagers they complete to demonstrate their understanding.

My students create beautiful one pagers after they have finished reading a book and we need a safe place to be store them after being displayed on our wall. Their hard work is being destroyed in their backpacks. Manila folders are a perfect way to keep them net and organized throughout the year. I want them to feel proud of the work they've done and teach them to be organized using mania folders.
