Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Coming from an Equity Focus School and District 75 school, my hope as and educator is to meet all my students learning needs while also enhancing students learning by adapting material being provided. With a new school year on its way this project is focused on providing materials such as pencil, crayons, highlighting tape and more to be used on a daily basis for my early and emerging learners. In addition, items such as velcro and laminating sheets are used on a weekly basis to adapt books, make interactive books and reusable worksheets. My hope with a binding machine is to create interactive books that can be used throughout the school year, as well as create resources students can use at school and at home.

With a new school year comes new opportunities and as I prepare for it, I look forward to being able to bring these items to my classroom to adapt to individual learning needs.

The 2023-2024 school year is about to begin and the following items on my project will help me prepare and create what is to come!
