My Project

My students just experienced Hurricane Ian. They were challenged to live without power and water while our town and school were flooded. We are so happy to be back at school after three weeks of hurricane recovery.

Replacing our favorite Physical Education activities will help my students become physically and mentally stronger after this traumatic event.

My students look forward to playing tetherball, flag football, and velcro target games with their classmates. They enjoy jumping rope on their own and with a group of friends. Most of all they can't wait to play soccer as a team. These supplies are favorites of my students. We were devastated to see how many of our favorite games and pieces of equipment were not able to be salvaged after the storm. I am hoping to get replacements so we can return to a sense of normalcy and have fun with a large variety of activities at PE again!
