My Students

For many of my students, kindergarten is their first experience in a school setting. They begin the year thinking we will spend all day playing together, and I want my classroom to feel like that as much as possible. My students love to play, sing, create, and learn new things.

Kindergartners are eager to learn and do their best, and I strive to instill a love of learning at an early age.

My students attend an incredible elementary school in Virginia where we value making connections and putting the needs of students first.

My Project

Through play, I know my students are learning, building social skills, and forming important relationships with their peers and teachers.

My students love exploring with magnets, and I'm excited to add magnetic tiles and pieces to our shelves.

Block Buddies help students with their visual processing skills. They will be added to a set we already have to make our collection more useful for multiple students. Rainbow Pebbles will be new additions to our classroom and I know they will let my students expand their creativity and problem-solving skills as they work with them.

Many of these materials will be used in my classroom this year and for many, many years to come. Please help these young students start their school lives off with a strong foundation and a love for learning.
