Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting foam pogo jumpers, balance pedal bikes, and stilt walkers to enrich our circus arts unit. There are a wide range of ways to use this equipment -- individually in stations, combined into relay races, and as elements in obstacle courses. We plan to mix up how students engage with the games as they develop their skills. And then...

With a wider variety of circus arts equipment we will be able to realize our vision of a student circus performance at the end of the unit!

This will be a super fun way to showcase student talents and allow space for students to find something they enjoy while accommodating different student abilities.

We already have some circus arts equipment, but these particular items will help broaden our options allowing more students to successfully develop skills such as balance, agility, and coordination.
