Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My scholars live in the South Bronx one of the poorest districts in NYC. The use of the art easel is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially when they want to express their creativity. Using the easel the students will be able to explore many different forms of art to create their own illustrations that will show their understanding of the world around them. . The illustrations they create will allow me to see exactly what they are learning, as well as provide an easy way for them to show and share their work. Painting is also providing therapy and tranquility for many of my students who have focusing issues and they miss important instruction form either myself or other students. By having this easel in the classroom students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! And the laminator will help me preserve their work to last.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
