Help me give my students a warm welcome for the 2024-2025 school year. As we move back into a newly renovated building , I want to make sure that the class is warm and welcoming to the students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We have been out of our main building for over a year for renovations. As we move back into the building, I want to decorate the classroom so that it is warm and welcoming for the students on the first day back August 5.
The student's first impression of the class sets the tone for the whole year.
I want to make sure that the class is decorated. The border, bulletin board paper, glue gun, etc. will be used to decorate the classroom door and bulletin boards. The mobile desk is for me to be able to move around the class to make sure that my proximity to the students is mobile.
The fridge will keep cold water and juice for students to limit the time students are out of the class for water breaks.
After being displaced for a whole school year, I want to make sure that when my students come back into their own space, it's nice, clean, welcoming, and bright!
