My Project

I am a math cluster teacher in an elementary school. This year I service 20 classes, ranging in age from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. I am passionate about helping my students LOVE math through fun games and interactive activities. This year the students have taken to three programs, each requiring regular use of the 32 iPads already in my classroom. To limit wear and tear on the devices while encouraging regular use, it would be so helpful to put cases on the devices.

Right now the students complete a mini lesson that is designed to reinforce what they are learning in their classroom.

As a follow up, I check their learning through Kahoot! where I am able to gather data to drive my instruction. Some classes also use the iPads for Generation Genius, and Reflex Math.

The energy in my room this year is at an all time high, but only 16 days into the school year I am worried about the devices. Your contribution will keep technology in the hands of the 400 students that come through my classroom each week, and your support is greatly appreciated!
