My Project

I teach in NE Oklahoma where all our schools are Title I schools. We also live in a town that houses 9 Tribal Nations. We have a diverse student population. Unfortunately, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of our students missed out on the support that they would have received if they would have been in school.

I am asking for some new books, a new horseshoe table, some golf pencils and a rack to hold their binders.

I am approaching this deficit in their educational needs by working with small groups during the day. A new horseshoe table will better help me physically reach my students while we are working one on one. The pizza rack, unfortunately we won't be cooking pizzas, but it will hold our binders so we can keep better track of our data binders. Due to the increase in device usage, I am going to be having my students use golf pencils, to help with their fine motor skills.

And most important, I am asking for some leveled readers, so my students will have better access to books that they have the ability to read.
