This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students like to have fun while learning. They have caught on well with learning their letters and letter sounds. We would like more interactive activities so they can be independent in their small group learning.

Phonics awareness skills are an important skill for kindergarten students to have before moving on to first grade.

These activities will allow for them to acquire and strengthen these skills. These activities will also give students a confidence boost. In a world full of technology, it's wonderful for students to have the opportunity to play games without using a tablet or a computer.
