My Students

My school is a Title I, high needs, low-income school with a group of very diverse students! I am teaching a self-contained 1st Grade class that contains students with a variety of needs, abilities, languages, and disabilities.

Even though my students are all very different with different learning needs and abilities, I try my best to provide them all with a fun, hands-on, engaging and beneficial education!

I want to continue to offer them activities that fit their learning styles. This project will provide my students with a learning experience that allows​ them to grow and blossom!

My Project

I am hoping to get center activities and games to help my students enhance their learning in both ELA and Math. Having centers and activities to address their different levels is very important.

The center activities will help all of my students grow in the area of letter formation, letter and number identification as well as letter sounds, CVC and sight word identification, and math skills!

I run my classroom in small groups with a lot of center rotation. The materials will help add and enhance the activities I already have. Giving students choice as well as learning in a hands-on approach is very important. The materials will make my classroom even more interactive and fun.
