My Project

I have an awesome group of first graders, who are not only learning first grade content, but also, English! They are so psyched that school is back in session, and they are geared up and ready for first grade.

We need lots of organization and systems to make learning accessible and convenient for them to function independently and learn for permanency.

The materials I'm requesting here fall into 2 categories. Part 1- trays and sensory beads for students to use for multisensory practice for writing letters and words. Giving them multisensory experiences with their learning will help solidify the knowledge along multiple pathways in the brain. Part 2- shelves, caddies, boxes and organizational items to help keep the space clean, appealing and organized! I utilize a lot of stations and independent work areas in the classroom, and the caddies will help me create more organized "standalone" work ares for the students to function independently.
