Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Playtime is the perfect time to introduce a new language to kids. Since children learn through play, bilingual toys can help them develop new language skills.

In pre-k they learn to find things that start with the letter of the week, and having toys that are actually made in Spanish they can connect the begging sound with words by looking at examples.

The interactive poster I had in here, talks to students in Spanish. The Flashcards can help them connect Spanish with English words. Learning the calendar (days of the week, months, etc) creates a sense of belonging. Also, this way they can review the ABCs, numbers, and shapes all while singing songs and playing games with all this toys.
