My Students

I have been graced to teach some of the most creative students in the city. I teach in a small inner city school and currently have 70 art students. They come to my class excited to do the next project and usually will not even let me get into the classroom before they are begging to know what we will do next.

The tiny spark that I saw in my students on the first day has now become a full-fledged fire!

I cannot wait to guide these amazing students to build their creative thinking and art-making skills throughout their middle school experience.

My Project

The supplies I have listed are just a few of the staples we use weekly in our art classroom. We have used these items for multiple projects throughout the school year every year, and they have been chosen through careful consideration, research, and trail and error.

When my students have access to a large variety of supplies, they become inspired to make great things.

My goal each year is to be prepared for all ideas my students throw my way. With a fully equipped classroom, my art students can create without limitations, resulting in an inspiring learning environment for all.
