My Students

My students are eager learners who come from a diverse background. They love to explore and are learning how to be good readers. The students in my classroom are community focused and love to share what they know and have with others.

They are eager to help others and to try out new things.

My Project

Listening to stories is a great way for students to hear the ebb and flow that happens when you are reading a book aloud. It also allows students to hear a variety of people read books and how just listening to a story by a good reader can pull you in.

My students are just beginning to really enjoy books and learning how to read fluently, they also love listening to stories.

As a teacher of students who speak more than one language I would love to get books in other languages so they can hear them in the other languages they speak.
