My Students

Let's get excited about learning!!! Kids today love playing with different kinds of technology. Nooks are a perfect way to help kids learn in all subject areas.

The students in my class are active, smart, and simply fun to be around.

They work hard to learn everyday. We attend school in a rural Texas town. We might be small, but we have huge hearts and even bigger dreams. My classroom is filled with future doctors, law enforcers, educators, and even a few politicians!

My Project

Nook tablets are so versatile in the classroom. My students will be able to read books and access many educational games and activities. With the technology today, they can use this very important tool to practice reading, language arts, and math skills. They will also be learning about technology itself. The future is surrounded by technology. Exposing my students to new and different things will help them soar!

The single best thing about being a teacher is seeing kids get excited about learning.

Children today are faced with growing up faster than they should. Some of my kids wear the weight of the world on their shoulders. Their problems are large and their spirit is strong. By bringing exciting and educational tools into the classroom, we are helping them gain an appreciation and love of learning. We are also giving them a little bright spot in their lives.
