Let's Learn to Read!

Help me give my students the opportunity to read books. I'm a first year Kindergarten teacher trying to build my classroom library. I need the "I Can Read!" readers complete series, Henry and Mudge collection, and Biscuit collections.

My Project

My kindergarten students are special in that they are learning how to read and developing a love for reading. All of the resources I have listed will make a difference in their learning by providing in classroom hands-on books that are targeted towards their reading level in order to help them grow.

The earlier a child learns to read and develops a love for reading, the greater their academic success.

Not all children have access to books and support systems outside of school. Therefore, when a child walks into my room, I want to have the books needed to set them up for academic success. By choosing to donate to my cause, you will be helping provide the necessary resources needed to encourage developing young readers. My goal is to spark the interest of my students, drive a desire to learn through books they enjoy, and develop a love for reading.
