Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classrooms are geared towards low-income families. We try to create a welcoming environment and supply materials they can engage with. We create centers such as blocks, dramatic play, sensory, art, manipulatives, and social-emotional learning.
These help children enhance many skills.
Our families are very thankful for our classrooms and the education we provide. The rugs will allow more welcoming areas and a soft are to sit on. We will use all the social-emotional books and toys during our teaching moments each day. We learn through music and movement each day. Having a speaker that all the children can hear the songs will make this easier every day.
