Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The early years of schooling are such a formative time, and creating an environment that will be both welcoming and stimulating for my students is a priority. Given that many of them are new to school, creating a warm, engaging, and structured atmosphere can make a big difference in their transition.

My students will enjoy learning new skills through hands-on activities.

Letter-tracing sensory pads are a great way to engage young learners and help them develop foundational literacy skills. The reusable write-and-wipe pocket sheets will give my students plenty of opportunities to practice writing and tracing without the need for constant paper waste. Plus, having their sheet to use throughout the year will provide a sense of ownership and consistency in their learning process.
