My Students

My students are insightful, creative, and thoughtful individuals that work together for the greater good. They inspire me every day!

My students are passionate about their education, love to learn, and despite all the challenges that have been thrown their way this year, they continue to be engaged and enthusiastic!

We, like most schools, are underfunded and need more materials this year to navigate the challenging situation we are all in with hybrid learning.

My Project

As we head back to school full time, I plan for my classroom to transition as much as possible outdoors where we can all breathe fresh air and soak up vitamin D! We have plenty of space outdoors but limited spots where everyone can sit and work. A selection of small camping stools will allow me to more easily take my classroom outside every day.

I can't wait to get back in the classroom yet also get outside with my class, and I know my students can't wait either!

These items will be used by us every year as I think the shift to outside learning will stay with us for quite some time. It is beneficial for the students' mental health and emotional well-being to learn outside as much as possible.
