My Students

The vibration that our students are surrounded by needs to be lifted. Our young children overhear the news, parent conversations, media, and the list goes on. That is why creating a SAFE, exciting, analytical, innovative, tolerant classroom is my mission.

My students come from all over the world.

The level of diversity in my classroom is arguably one of the most diverse in the world. My students are Black, White, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Mongolian, and the list goes on. I am eager to create safe and unifying experiences that can engage both their minds and social abilities. These children differ academically, economically, racially, linguistically, and culturally. We all have so much to learn from each other's differences and have to do our part to keep each other safe.

My Project

We are going to start teaching in person and we desperately need outdoor materials. It will be quite challenging for my students to hear my voice with a mask on. Having a microphone to hear me speak will be invaluable for learning lessons. Also, students need cushions in order to sit outside comfortably. With cushions we can try to make use of more outdoor spaces. These tools will allow for me to go outside and read books to my students. We will be able to do an infinite amount of activities outside due to your help.
