My Project

Being a kindergarten teacher, my students start the school year at all different levels. Students have different learning needs and therefore need different types of instruction to best meet their needs. This is where small groups come in! Working with students in small groups allows me to work with various groups of students on their own individual learning needs.

By providing our classroom with these materials, you will be helping my students learn based on their own individual needs.

The pocket chart and table easel will be a great way to support my students during this time! They are the perfect size to sit on my table and display to students. I will be able to use them to display magnetic letters to teach letter sounds, build words or whatever skill my students need to practice. They allow for differentiation to meeting the various learning targets of my students. The sequencing puzzles will also be a group tool to use during small groups and center time in the classroom. By sequencing pictures, students will be able to build their oral vocabulary and sequencing numbers is another great skill for students to practice. By providing these materials, you will be providing a way for me to guide student learning through their individual needs.
