Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are new to this country and are just beginning to learn English.

My goal is to make my classroom colorful, inviting, and enriching as they learn the language and assimilate to our school and country.

The chart-making materials will allow me to make the room as bright and inviting as possible. The games will allow the students to acquire new language skills and practice their English. The toner will be for printing differentiated work for the students in Spanish. The headphones will allow my students the opportunity to listen to audiobooks and practice their English skills independently.

While these materials are focused on my ESL students, they will also benefit the rest of the class, too!
