Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a very low-income neighborhood. Most of my students have social and academic skills that are lacking due to them growing up through Covid. These items will help my students gain skills in social situations as well as academics. In my 11 years of teaching Kindergarten, I truly believe that play-based learning is what is best for all Kindergarten students. These things will allow me to create centers as well as organize centers in my room that will help my students in social and academic areas. Students thrive with hands on activities and I have chosen these to add to my classroom based on my student needs.
