My Project

To promote science and social studies, I would like to provide my students with their own copies of National Geographic Kids Sticker Activity Books.

The books will be given to the students after they have an opportunity to be the "Scientist of the Week." As a reward for choosing an experiment, practicing at home, and then presenting to the class, they will be able to choose from one of the National Geographic Kids books with stickers.

The photo ink cartridge and paper will allow me to take a photo of each student when they are the "Scientist of the Week" to add to their Science Journal so that the other students can visually see which activities were already chosen to complete.

During my Holidays Around the World unit, I will incorporate geography by using the National Geographic Kids World Atlases so the students can find where the countries are on the map. They can learn more about the culture of each country with the stickers and complete the activities over the Winter Break.
