This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am happy to be teaching Pre-K through 2nd Grade! My students are a diverse group with varying skill levels. We are very lucky to have a basketball team, coed soccer team, and girls soccer team at our school that competes against other schools in our district.

Students are most excited when they are able to experience new challenges and see themselves grow!

Most of them have never been exposed to structured play or organized games. All students deserve to be exposed to a full, rich curriculum that develops them into lifelong movers. Appreciating physical activity is important to a healthy lifestyle.

My Project

The soccer trainer will help improve the passing and shooting skills of my coed soccer team and the girls' soccer team. During our practices, we have a difficult time practicing our shooting since there are only two goals. The trainers will allow all the students to practice their skills without having to wait in line to take turns.

Let's score GOAL and work on our skills while keeping social distance!

My favorite feature of this soccer trainer is that students will be able to work on their own and at their own pace. Before they needed a partner or a wall to work on their passing but with this trainer, they will be able to improve their skills and stay healthy by maintaining social distance.
