My Project

Our Band room was fortunate enough to receive a new carpet installation this August! During the install, we had to move our entire band room out so the new carpet could be laid. As a result, dust went everywhere--revealing how we need an air purifier to keep our band room free from dust and other allergens. Regardless of several requests, the school district will not allow this purchase for our classroom. In addition to this concern, we purged a lot of junk and re-organized the band room. We currently have several items needing placed in seasonal storage bins (which we do not have). Without desks, we also need dry erase boards that can sit in laps so students can learn music theory in a more organized fashion. To promote pride in our classroom, we need a vacuum for students to clean high traffic areas. This is helpful as our district is short custodians to clean our rooms adequately. In addition to these needs, we also cannot purchase certain dry erase boards for our classrooms per district rules. We need these magnetic dry erase boards for our private lesson room.
