My Students

The students at my school are resilient and passionate about their learning. Furthermore, these students have shown their dedication by their high level of engagement during our virtual learning classes. What makes them unique is their ability to adapt to these unprecedented times.

My Project

Exercising can enhance a student’s ability to learn. As a high school physical educator, I am constantly exploring ways to engage students in moderate-to-vigorous physical activities during remote learning. I would like to take it a step further and provide students with their own jump ropes to jumpstart their personalized fitness routines. Many of my students come from low-socio-economic backgrounds; so unfortunately, they do not have the require equipment to keep or stay fit. It would be great for them to increase their fitness levels by incorporating rope jumping into their every day fitness routines. They are a few units away from learning how to jump rope, the benefits to rope jumping, and the overall enjoyment they will receive from it.

My goal is to enhance my students ability to learn and to empower them by providing opportunities to choose different training modes.
