My Project

The laptop-tablet hybrid I’m requesting will greatly enhance my students' learning by providing a dynamic, interactive tool to engage with historical content in real time. With the ability to annotate, highlight, and read directly from the device, students can interact with the material more deeply, improving comprehension and retention. As I share the screen on the SMARTboard, they will also be able to follow along with me while engaging in collaborative discussions, making learning more visual and participatory. My goal for this project is to create an immersive learning environment that fosters critical thinking and reading comprehension by utilizing technology to bridge the gap between instruction and active participation. My students are diverse, with varying levels of prior knowledge and learning needs, which makes this tool invaluable in providing a flexible, inclusive space where they can all thrive. By offering tailored, hands-on experiences with history, I aim to meet each student's unique needs and help them develop a deeper connection to the subject matter.
