My Students

Remember receiving your Classroom Supply List on the First Day of School? Unfortunately, many of our students don't have the resources to fulfill their classroom supply list. It's the teachers' responsibility to make sure they have the basic resources imperative for a successful environment.

I teach in an urban school district, where supplies for a classroom are of high demand, and the school budget limits what can be purchased for my classroom.

There are 160 students in the seventh grade that I teach on a daily basis. With so many students utilizing my classroom, it is essential the science classroom to be filled with basic school supplies to run a classroom efficiently and promote an academic environment.

My Project

Basic classroom supplies are essential in a classroom to further promote a successful academic environment. The supplies requested for my classroom include, but not limited to: crayons, markers, staplers, paper, pencil, pens, construction paper, highlighters, pocket folders and so forth. Students lack basic school supplies that are essential to do complete daily class and homework assignments, improve studying skills, produce classroom projects and enrich their minds academically. The science classroom will become a more engaging and hands on environment with a sufficient amount of supplies.

By having basic classroom supplies, such as paper, pencils, folders, crayons, etc., within the classroom, students will have the essential items for an educationally enriched environment.

With common school supplies, students will be able to complete homework assignments, classroom assignments, class projects, and lab activities! The donations for this project will allow all students to be actively engaged within the science classroom.
