This year we are using audio books during our literacy block. Our students are LOVING being able to read and hear the story actually come to life. Listening to audiobooks helps improve students' reading levels and increase their fluency.
Although we have audiobooks, called Wonderbooks, we do not all have earbuds.
This project will allow each student to get two pairs of earbuds to last them throughout the school year. We use these earbuds daily, in our literacy block but also love to use them when reading on websites such as EPIC when researching Science and Social Studies.
