Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a small self contained class that works best with hands on experiences. The planter and accessories will continue to enhance the hands on interactive classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy to move around and get involved in. They spend time with our fish daily and seated in our various alternative seating areas.

Everything we do in our small environment is done to enhance their learning, but I try to do it through an engaging activity.

I strive to bring them various experiences each year that they can carry with them throughout the year that they will learn from.

This planter will help my students grasp the idea of life cycles right in their classroom. They will be able to plant several different types of seeds inside more than once in a school year and observe every stage. We will be able to do so much hands on. Let the growing of our veggies begin along with our minds!!!!!
