My Project

A day before the school year started, I was asked to take over a PreK class for the 2022-23 school year. Within 24 hours I went from being an out of classroom teacher to a PreK teacher of eighteen students. Members in my school community helped me put together the classroom with whatever materials we had. We had limited resources in the Dramatic Play area and Block Play area. Thankfully, I was able to borrow some materials from my colleagues to just get the school year started. After meeting my students and their parents, I learned that they love to play with trucks, dolls and dinosaurs.

The trucks, dolls and dinosaurs will enhance our Dramatic Play and Block Play areas.

It will allow them to have conversations with each other, grow their brains for imaginary play, and encourage them to work on sharing materials.
