Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my school love to learn, especially with hands on materials. Our school population is a diverse community comprised of many different income levels and backgrounds. It would be great to show students how to grow food at home and use it to create a meal.
We would love to grow our own herbs and veggies and then use what we grow to make a meal to share with our parents and community.
We will use the recipes to create a cookbook as well. What meal would taste better than one where its made from food you grew?
