Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With an average cost of more than $100, graphing calculators are expensive. While we wish we could provide for each and every one of our students, we are starting with one classroom set.

Funding this project will help us create our first 1:1 calculator classroom.

The TI-84 Plus is ideal for our high school math classes starting from Algebra I up to AP Calculus. Each student will be able to use their own calculator without waiting for someone else.

Students can enter fractions and equations in proper notation and the display will match exactly to what's on the board or in the textbook. Students can graph their math and watch how functions dance across the coordinate plane. Students can solve their own problems at their own pace.
