My Students

My students come from various socioeconomic, race, religious, and cultural backgrounds. They are bright-eyed and excited about learning. My students love learning and engaging in meaningful activities.

Every student deserves to be happy, healthy, and safe at school.

With the recent events of COVID-19, the way schools function have changed from anything we have ever known.

Our classroom fosters a love for learning through different experiences. Many students do not have the background knowledge that you would expect a child their age to have. I try to provide students with experiences that will impact their lives not only while they are in my classroom but that they can take with them throughout their lives.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing educational resource that provides thousands of online and printable resources created by teachers for teachers. I would like to be able to use products from Teachers Pay Teachers to supplement my students' learning as we continue the school year in a hybrid model in which I see some students on a rotating schedule while others are fully remote. Teaching online is so much more than just transferring classroom assignments into online assignments.

With these Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards, I can purchase resources that will help me create dynamic and interactive online lessons for students as they complete their work at home.

Right now, I am in the process of adapting and creating lessons and activities that are engaging and able to be completed during online learning. For a lot of students, math can be one of their toughest subjects so I will be using the resources I purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers to help make virtual learning easier for my students. Some of the resources I'm looking at purchasing are lessons and activities that I need to adapt for online learning including rational functions, limits and continuity, polynomial functions, and trigonometric functions, which will help students understand the content better while learning at home. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to find engaging resources that are much needed right now and in the future.
