My Project

I am trying to better teach my students, who represent an array of learning styles and needs. It is my goal to increase the amount of technology equipment in our class so that we can better achieve STEAM standards.

These resources will allow us to successfully practice art and science while utilizing technology that will also assist the visually impaired (hence the larger screen) to get the same experience as the rest of the class.

I teach a diverse range of 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with a variety of special needs.

I have students that require remediation as well as those that need enrichment. My students are incredibly motivated in their learning, especially in art and technology. As a seasoned art teacher, it is my goal to foster an appreciation for artistic inquiry while relating science and technology to the diverse lives of my students. These resources will allow us to successfully practice art and science while utilizing technology that will also assist the visually impaired to get the experience as the rest of the class. I am confident that my students will begin to realize that they are artists and that science and technology is all around them!
