My Students

Pre-K is an exhilarating and fun age for students. My students are learning about letter-sound relationships, numbers, shapes, colors, and how to hold a pencil. They are always willing to learn and ask many questions. They love using hands-on learning, where they can make a connection in their growing minds.

I love going to school each day to watch their resilient minds grow.

In my classroom, we work together and cheer each other along. They are constantly teaching me how fast they learn, and the types of relationships they build with each other.

My Project

We all need a little sunshine in our lives. The materials I am requesting are great for outdoor play. What's even better is that some materials have dual purposes. A few items I am requesting will not only be great for outside recess but indoor recess as well. Not only do the students get disappointed when they cannot go out to play due to the crazy weather in Oklahoma, but I do as well. I always get stumped on what to do when we have to have indoor recess.

The students need movement to get their energy out, but it is difficult to do in our classroom.

The ring toss and bean bag activities will be a great addition to use for indoor recess time. The number of games we can play with them is endless. Not only will it help bring new fun activities to indoor recess, but it will also help students with academic and fine motor skills. The tricycles and balls will also be great for my students to learn fine motor skills, while they play outside.
