My Project

All students deserve engaging and high-quality learning experiences and materials, no matter their family's socioeconomic status. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment where students feel comfortable exploring new materials, overcoming learning challenges, and pushing themselves to reach their full potential. My students love engaging with a curriculum covering different topics than those in their general education classroom. Currently, we are studying a unit on spatial reasoning.

Spatial reasoning requires visualizing and manipulating shapes; pentominoes are a tricky and engaging tool for building these skills.

Pentominoes are challenging to fit together and manipulate, but they can also be lots of fun when you get the hang of them. This project requests 3 packs of pentominoes as well as storage materials to keep these items safe and organized. Our spatial reasoning unit will help my students to develop a better sense of position, direction, movement, and placement. My students are always up for a challenge and love exploring new materials during our weekly classes. Thank you so much for your support!
