My Project

Our students are very interested in animals, especially the animals found in the savanna! We thought it would be exciting to expand on that interest and take our kiddos on a musical safari. We recently received a large percussion drum to teach our students about instruments, sounds and rhythms. We played our drum to some African music and the students loved it!

We thought it would be great to get our students some instruments that are played in Africa, so that they could experience the sounds and rhythms first hand.

Doing is the key to learning! We would also like to order a few CDs that the children could enjoy listening to and also play along with the music. Please consider donating to our project Let's Go On a Musical Safari! Thank you!
